Yummy Deals on the Table!

We have been having new meals lately which I don't plan the day before, only pops up in my head while I'm staring at the various packs of meat or fish an hour before lunch or dinner. A few weeks back, hubby individually packed all the raw meat, some were marinated so all I have to do is take them out of the freezer and they're ready to be cooked, no more slicing or whatever. The challenge lies on what to make out of those meats and turn them into something delicious or different.

chicken strips boiled in italian dressing that hubby made then pan grilled

grilled the fish (seasoned with salt and pepper) after grilling the chicken in the same pan

grilled chicken and fish served with perogies (the kids' new fave), vegetable salad and dressing (mayo mixed with strawberry flavored greek yogurt)

pork (tenderloin) tonkatsu

buttered veggies (Arctic gardens) cooked in butter and flavored with oyster sauce

pork tonkatsu, buttered veggies and mushroom soup

Not only our meals have changed quite a bit but also our choice of meat lately. Hubby only wants tenderloin, pork loin and baby back ribs. I guess it's goodbye pork fats for now :D
