Green Leafy Veggies



Back home there are several varieties of leafy green vegetables. I miss the kangkong, kamote leaves, sayote leaves, pepper leaves, bittermelon leaves, malunggay, squash flowers, etc. During one of our many visits to our friends Millet and Arni's house, they cooked sinigang and added spinach to it. It was really good, you can pretend that there was kangkong in it. Thus, our switch to spinach. So far it's been a mainstay to our stir fry, it was on the mussels soup as well and it's going to be in a lot more meals. No wonder Popeye likes it so much :D
