2 Days of Fun in the Ice
There are some errands and important things to attend to for the past two days but we were able to squeeze in some fun time for the whole family. We accomplished the important things yesterday mostly school stuff, registration and immunization records. The fun started in the after school skating and seeing Lance doing good makes me proud and happy for my boy. We got him a hockey stick too, to encourage him more and for him to have more fun in the ice. How I wish Mark and I knew how to skate, it will be fun to teach the kids if we were good at it. Come to think of it, Lance can probably teach us now! (Lol)
This morning, we went to the Parent and Tot skating session. The kids were amazing, some were smaller than Lance, about the same age or a year older than Lei and they were all playing hockey! The dads were patiently teaching their little boys how to play, while the moms were skating with their little girls some even had strollers. Wow is all I could say. It is so cute to look at. What a quality time spent with family and skating looks really fun (but hard, I think?)
We went back again in the afternoon for the public skating along with some friends. From the young ones to the oldies, grandmas and grandpas even holding hands while skating. Isn't that the sweetest? I could imagine Mark and I doing that 30 years from now :D
