Dinner Chowking Style

Spinach with salted shrimp fry

I guess there is no end in missing the food back home. Thank God for Asian stores and the familiar types of food that they have especially fish sauce and of course the salted shrimp fry. How we loved 'bagoong' so much, that I don't have a ready explanation. It doesn't even smell good and it's too salty and I know a lot of people (even Filipinos) who don't like this stuff but I am definitely not one of them. Last night, we paired it off with wilted spinach just like Chowking's kangkong with bagoong. Another simple yet yummy dish, reminiscent of those rainy day meals back in the Philippines.
