I just don't have what it takes to bake successfully. I don't have the patience and the talent but my sweet cravings push me to bake. My latest baking experiment was with a carrot cake. I found an easy carrot cake recipe here at muchmenus and cut the recipe in half. I used a ready to spread cream cheese frosting which made things easier for me. Having baked quite successfully puts a smile to my face and makes me forget about my previous failed attempts :D
Ooh! I just made carrot cake last night! I've been using Ina Garten's recipe from Food Network, and it's a very versatile one—you can make it into cupcakes as well :)
